Diaphragmatic breathing as your anchor.

This month’s edition of The Reset is a short practice incorporating a few movements with diaphragmatic breathing as the anchor throughout.

A few of the numerous reported benefits of diaphragmatic breathing include:

  • Reduced cortisol (stress hormone) levels

  • Aiding pain management

  • Reduced heart rate

  • Eases symptoms of depression and anxiety

  • Improved lung function

  • Improved digestion

You can do this practice from the floor or sitting in a chair.

If you are sitting in a chair, then I suggest having a second chair nearby to hold onto at certain part of the practice.
