Other than yoga, a great stress reliever for me is gardening as once I walk around my allotment or garden I assess the plants condition and am totally swept into their world temporarily forgetting my work and family stresses. I’ve stopped migraines by going into my greenhouse to sow seeds and pot plants. There is loads on gardening used as therapy - have you heard of trench gardens in the Second World War trenches?

Oh this sounds so soothing, Claire! 💖 I’m in a flat with no garden or balcony here so I tend to my houseplants as best I can (I’m certainly no expert). Gardening as therapy absolutely makes sense. And no, I must admit I did not know about the gardens in the Second World War trenches! Now I must go and find out more about this. Thank You ✨

When I lived in London (10 years ago) there were loads of community gardens popping up. If it’s something you are interested in i’m sure there will be some local to you. I’m sure tending to your house plants has a similar effect. I forgot how short green space is in London.

Same, Luisa. Same. Overwhelm is an old friend of mine 😂 (yoga helps me hugely with this! Do you find the same?) In the last few years a greater proportion of my work and non-work life has involved non-negotiable screen time. Though this has come with lots of benefits too it is something I’m regularly refining to combat the negatives 💛 x
