I've always struggled to find my 'way in' to poetry but I'm just starting to dip my toe in and find some that resonate. I'll definitely look up more of Derek Walcott's poems.
I’m so glad you liked the poem Janelle ❤️ I’m don’t feel like a big poetry connoisseur by any means but there are certain poems that have really stuck with me. I guess like certain songs, there are poems that can really touch the heart or inspire. I have a few poetry collections at home and sometimes it’s nice to open a random page and read one. I was gifted ‘All The Names Given’ a collection of poems by Raymond Antrobus so lately I’ve been dipping into that. I hope you find more poems that resonate with you too.
