For any new subscribers to Slow Living in the Big City, welcome! The Reset is one of five offerings that paid subscribers receive from me each month, as well as full access to my growing archive of all posts, yoga classes and meditations. To receive all this, upgrade to monthly (this works out to £1.50 a week) or yearly membership (£1 a week). Free subscribers currently receive two posts per month. Thank you so much for being here.

Earlier this month I wrote here about Autumn, the Lungs and Large Intestine, and Metal element, along with a few tips for supporting Lung and Large Intestine Qi.

With this in mind, this month’s edition of The Reset is a yin yoga practice with a focus on the Lung and Large Intestine meridians.

Props – for this practice I’d suggest having the following to hand:

  • 2 cushions (or 1-2 pillows / a bolster)

Optional extras:

  • A blanket

  • An eye cover (I used a folded scarf here)

About the Lung and Large Intestine meridians:

In the downward direction the Lung meridian lines start from around the space of the solar plexus, before passing the stomach to connect with the large intestine.
