This month’s Peaceful Pause is a guided Inner Smile meditation.
In this foundational Daoist practice, visualisation is utilised to help guide the energy of a smile into the body to the organs.
In the light of a recent injury flare-up, in my own practice of this meditation I’ve been sending the energy of this inner smile to the parts of my body that would benefit from some extra care, attention and healing.
You don’t need to be nursing an injury to practise this meditation but if you are then you might especially find some comfort in this guided practice.
