This month I’m sharing a practice I’ve been turning to as a way to pour back into myself as I’ve been experiencing some grief recently. It’s based on the Rest Session for Grief from my book, Rest + Calm: Gentle yoga and mindful practices to nurture and restore yourself.
Restorative Support is a pure restorative practice where you’ll experience just 4 poses over the course of 1 hour 10 mins.
This practice which invites deep rest can also be helpful for those times when you’re feeling really tired and depleted.
Props - for this practice you’ll need:
2 pillows (or 1 yoga bolster)
1 cushion (or 1-2 yoga blocks)
1-2 blankets or equivalent
Optional extras:
An eye cover (eg. eye pillow or folded scarf)
A yoga belt
Here’s your Restorative Support class (1hr 10mins)
